Double feature! Caroline Cotter and Michael Thomas Howard

Caroline Cotter and Michael Thomas Howard are two American songwriters hailing from the far flung corners of Maine and Alaska. Together the pair create undeniably affecting harmonies and combine musical influences that pull from jazz, folk, and Americana.

Caroline Cotter has played over 450 shows in 42 states and 10 countries since her debut album, Dreaming as I Do, released and reached #5 on the Folk DJ Charts in 2015. With a captivating soprano voice and award winning songwriting, her travel inspired songs take listeners all over the world: from a Parisian salon, to the coast of Maine, through the hills of Colorado, to the side of a bluegrass festival campfire, and into the depths of the human heart. "Ms. Cotter’s new album is brilliant, the range of styles from a cappella to smooth vocals and jazz, back to folk harmonies – the album never ceases to surprise.” - Bruce Swan, WPKN 89.5 FM Bridgeport, CT In 2018, Caroline will be touring to support her second major release, "Home on The River” www.carolinecotter.com.

Born and raised in the wilds of Alaska, Michael Thomas Howard’s award winning songwriting and unique voice akin to Cat Stevens is captivating audiences across North America and quickly earning him critical acclaim: "Remember the first time you encountered Steve Goodman, John Prine, Steve Forbert, Nick Drake, or Jesse Winchester? That’s how I feel listening to Howard—as if I’ve discovered the real deal, a one-of-a-kind singer who also loves words and knows how to put them together in memorable ways. I can’t wait to hear where he goes from here ” “A Five Star Folk CD” - Jeff Burger, No Depression. www.mhowardmusic.com

Meet the Wine & Winemaker: Ultima Tulie Wines

Join us for an evening with Cameron Stoffel, owner and winemaker of Ultima Tulie Wines in Paso Robles. He will pour his wines for you to try and answer any questions you have. HIs delicious chardonnay is currently for sale at the brewery.

Here's Cameron's bio:
I made my first batch of wine in 2011 after being granted a little corner of cellar space at Herman Story Wines in Paso Robles, CA. I have been producing micro-lots of high quality wine with the utmost care and attention to detail ever since. I focus on sourcing grapes from esteemed vineyards around the Central Coast, using a low intervention approach to winemaking, getting my hands on every step of the process. I concentrate on working with Chardonnay, cool-climate Syrah, and Petite Sirah, perfecting my hand with these limited varietals vintage after vintage. “Ultima Tulie” references a place beyond the borders of the known world. A Latin term used during early exploration when we knew very little about our world and its limitations, not realizing the only limitation was that of our own selves. To me, Ultima Tulie represents surpassing our perceived or self-imposed limits. It represents my love for exploring nature, living life with purpose, and finishing a great bottle of wine while doing so.
